The tube is still closed. A voice blares from the depths that it will open in a few minutes. But the evangelist at the top of the stairs (at the other side, not at the picture) keeps reading from the bible as soon as the announcement is finished.. Oxford Circus, London, United Kingdom, July 2014.
This picture is taken in Callander, a small village near the enormous and rough Scottisch lake district The Trossachs. It was a warm break during an overwhelming road trip through Scotland up to the isle of Skye. I had this thought: “When we’re young, we can’t imagine we’ll ever be like this. But when we’re old, we’re happy for the company.” The gentleman at the left seems to be a bit insecure. Not because of all these ladies surrounding him, I guess. But because he is the only one mentioning my camera…
